At around 20:56, we received an alert at our control room about a spiking incident on the N1, just after the Maraisburg Rd Bridge.
We immediately dispatched our Reaction Officer, who responded quickly and arrived on the scene within minutes, along with JMPD.
The victim was found safe, but his tyre was damaged due to debris on the road. Our officer assisted the victim and made sure the situation didn’t escalate.
Other security agencies arrived on scene later on as well to assist.
