At around 01:35, we received a report of two suspicious figures inside the property at the corner of Weltevreden Rd and Pendoring Rd, Northcliff.
SCP Security Reaction Officers responded swiftly to the scene. Upon arrival, officers found the suspects attempting to steal a gate motor. The male suspects attempted to flee, but one of them was tackled and arrested by our officers.
The suspect who was caught was found in possession of a crowbar, which he had used to remove the gate motor. We dispatched Fairlands SAPS, and the suspect was later handed over to them.
