At approximately 06:00 today, one of our officers witnessed three male suspects attempting to steal copper cables at the corner of 4th Str & Alberts Rd, Newlands. Upon the arrival of backup, the suspects attempted to flee in different directions. However, with quick response and swift action, all three suspects were caught. A knife was also found on one of the suspects.
Sophiatown SAPS attended to the suspects. This demonstrates our commitment to keeping everyone safe and secure. We remain vigilant and dedicated to protecting our community! 💪
