This morning at 03:41, we received a call from the community patrollers regarding suspicious activity at the corner of Oosthuizen Road and Italian Road.
Our Reaction Officers were dispatched and responded swiftly to the scene. Upon arrival, our officers along with the community patrollers caught two suspects in a manhole attempting to steal cables.
SAPS arrived shortly after being dispatched and subsequently took the suspects to Sophiatown SAPS.
We would like to thank the community for being vigilant, as they also aided in the arrest of the suspects.
